Change is an outcome.
A strategic transition plan is how to get there.
Hi. I'm Sara.
I help people and organizations navigate transitions, bridge cultural differences, unlock potential, and lead ongoing change initiatives.
My work involves partnering with clients to identify desired outcomes and then supporting the design and implementation of their customized strategic transition plans.
Let's work together and explore the possibilities that are waiting on the other side of the bridge.
Keep reading to learn more about me, my own transitions, and why I get out of bed every day.
I'm good at what I do because
my work is personal.
Here's my story.
I've spent most of my life in transition in one way or another. I'm actually drawn towards change, because it's familiar. I know what it's like to be the "new kid" and the outsider, so I developed a strong appreciation for connection, inclusion and belonging in all aspects of my life. I was raised by a social worker and a veteran entrepreneur who inspired me to serve others, especially the newcomers and underdogs.
My diverse professional experience includes roles in entrepreneurship, sales, business development and leadership programs in both small private companies and large telecom giants. I'm an award-winning sales person as a result of my relationship building skills, customer service focus and competitive edge. I'm proudly considered an inspiring leader by many people I've had the pleasure to work with.
I embraced change in my personal life as well. I confidently married an active-duty U.S. Marine and with blind ambition, assumed the roles of mil-spouse, stepmother and twin-mom.
As the world became smaller due to the advances in technology, I realized I needed more education in order to make an even greater impact. In August 2018, I earned a graduate degree in Organization Development with a cross-cultural emphasis that included client projects in Washington DC, China, France and Costa Rica.
During graduate school I also had the honor to work with service members on their own military-civilian culture and career transition journeys. That experience had a profound impact on me and is the foundation for all my work ahead.
Today, I leverage my experience and education to help people and organizations thrive in a world that is constantly in transition. My priorities are to do good work, deliver meaningful and sustainable results and make a positive difference to people.
Why? Because I can.
And I'm just getting started.
